In order to fully understand the relationship dynamics involved with early DNA research, you need to know who the key figures were and what they contributed to their field of study. In this lesson, you’ll become familiar with several genetic scientists and learn about their major accomplishments.

The objective of this lesson is to be able to identify the role of each scientist in the DNA quest. This knowledge will be important in later lessons focusing on the details of those relationships and accomplishments. At the end of this lesson, you will be provided with a list of scientists and a list of accomplishments and asked to match them accordingly.
